As the great wheel of the year turns once more, we arrive at Yule, the Winter Solstice, the moment of deepest night and sacred stillness before the return of the Sun. The Earth herself pauses in breath, resting in the fertile darkness that holds the seed of all beginnings. This ancient threshold invites us to slow down, to listen, and to honor both the mystery of the dark and the eternal promise of the light that follows.

On this night of powerful balance, where shadow and light meet and shift, we gather in ceremony to release what has waned, honor what has been learned, and call back the light within our hearts and our world.

Through shamanic journeying, we will enter the still center of winter’s womb, the place of renewal and dreaming. Together, we will connect with our guides, ancestors, and the elemental spirits who hold the memory of the Sun’s eternal return. In this timeless space, we become co-creators of light’s rebirth, not only in the sky above, but in the landscapes of our own souls.

We will offer gratitude to the darkness, the wise teacher who shows us where healing and rest are needed. We will kindle the flame of the heart, the inner Sun, and send that radiance outward into our lives, our communities, and the wider web of the world.
